I’m a graphic designer with +8 years of experience developing projects that balance strategy, aesthetics, and concept. My work is defined by attention to detail and an editorial sensibility that ensures every element carries intention and purpose.

I combine design and illustration to create unique visual solutions, guided by a craft-driven approach and a versatile perspective capable of adapting to different contexts and styles. Throughout my career, I’ve collaborated with irreverent projects and ultra-luxury brands, cultivating a sensitive and versatile eye for diverse visual worlds.

Job Experience

The Creators Studio/

2022 - 2025 / Senior Designer

As a designer, I was responsible for developing sales support materials for luxury real estate companies. I also participated in creating informational materials and environmental graphics for ultra-luxury hospitality brands in Guanacaste.

In addition, I oversaw the print production of these materials, coordinating with printing houses and making decisions regarding materiality, finishes, and technical details—always ensuring the highest level of quality in the final product.

During this period, I had the opportunity to develop a wayfinding and environmental graphics project for a sports club in Guanacaste, set to open soon. This experience allowed me to deepen my knowledge in signage and wayfinding, integrating graphic design into the physical environment in both functional and aesthetic ways.

Wooki Studio/

2019 - 2022 / Graphic Designer

I was responsible for the creation and visual development of brands in the food, food manufacturing, and nonprofit sectors. My main accounts focused on designing presentation and sales materials for international restaurant chains, as well as developing illustrated characters for brands.

During my time at Wooki, I concentrated on brand development for bars, restaurants, and gastronomic projects—strengthening my experience in building visual concepts and creating cohesive graphic systems capable of conveying each brand’s essence through its most subtle details.

2019 / Graphic Designer

As an in-house designer, I developed sales support materials and retail displays, participating throughout the entire process of conceptualization, design, and final artwork. I worked closely with the construction department to ensure precise, high-quality execution of all materials.

I also coordinated production with external suppliers and designed internal campaigns aimed at employees, both for Human Resources initiatives and corporate volunteering programs.

Eureka/

2017 - 2019 / Junior Designer

I designed a variety of communication materials, both printed—such as catalogs, fanzines, and books—and digital, including email campaigns and social media content, for a wide range of clients: retail companies, institutions, financial entities, and nonprofit organizations.

I also collaborated with international clients on the creation of printed materials, adapting designs to local consumer cultures to ensure each piece felt relevant and engaging.

During this time, I took my first steps in developing visual identities for nonprofit projects, creating consistent graphic systems and visual narratives that strengthened each brand’s story and purpose.

Publications

La Tina 02/

2024

In 2024, the advertising agency Pupila published the second edition of LaTina, a book dedicated to Costa Rican graphic design. This edition focused on national illustrators, and I had the honor of being part of the selection.

Approximately 400 copies of the book were produced, accompanied by a four-month exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art and Design (MADC), where a piece from each participating illustrator was showcased.
